Distributing emails between users

Hope someone can help.

We have a cusrtomer contact mailbox that receives around 200 emails per day. We currently manually drag these into each user's sub-folder for them to work. but I was hoping there was a way that emails can be automatically shared out between a number of subfolders in turn. Kinda like dealing out a pack of cards.

I've looked on a number of websites but can't find anything. I'm probably not asking the right questions.

does anyone know of any way we can manage the workflow between users in this way? I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this problem.
