Distribution list HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished typing in over 300 names to a distribution list for our
membership and sent out my first test email. I then recieved an error
message saying the message was sent to "too many recipients". How do I cut
the names out of one distribution list and paste them to another without
having to retype all those names?
UGH!!!!!!

just highlight those names and cut them. then in the Cc spot right click and
paste

I think you may be able to do it this way:

1. Go to Contacts, click once on your distribution list to select it, and
copy paste it to make a duplicate (Edit > Copy, then Edit > Paste).
2. Rename both. To rename, open one of them by double clicking, and just
change the name of the list (top field--should be highlilghted).
3. When they are both renamed, open one of them again, select half the
members of the list (click on the first member of the list, and while
holding down the shift key, scroll down to half the list and select another
member), and when half of the members are highlighted, click "remove".
4. Repeat for the 2nd list, removing the last half.

You will end up with 2 distribution lists.

That won't help at all. Karin already said that her ISP rejected the
message as having too many recipients. Moving them from To to Cc won't
affect that in any way.
