Distribution Lists in a Public folder with a Customised Form

I have set up a Public Folder with a customised form. How do I create a new
Distribution list or copy an existing list from another folder to my new
Public Folder?
I am getting a couple of errors "Cannot copy...item may have been deleted or
moved" but the contacts are there. I am assuming it is something to do with
the customised form. Would appreciate any help. Thanks
