Distribution Lists in Outlook

I have just upgraded to Outlook 2003. I have created a new personal
distribution list which has been stored in my Contacts folder, but when I try
use it in a mail message in the 'To' box it will not find it.

Any clues?

Describe the exact steps you used to create it. Describe how you're adding
it to the To field.
