I am using Outlook Connector Beta with Outlook 2003 (recently upgraded from
Outlook 2000) and Live! Hotmail.
I copied my Outlook Contacts folder to the Local Hotmail Contacts folder.
After synchronisation had completed all my contacts had been uploaded
correctly to Live! Hotmail.
But my Distribution lists were empty in both the Local and Live and Hotmail
folders. (I had previously checked that the contacts were in the
Distribution Lists before synchronisation.
Just to be sure there was a problem a created a new Test distribution list
in the Connector Contacts folder.
Again after synchronisation both versions of the distribution list were empty.
If I create a test distribution list on Live! Hotmail it gets correctly
synchronised to the Outlook copy.
ie the synchronisation isn't working correctly in the upwards direction -
creating an empty list which then gets synced back down!
Is this a bug or an intentional limitation?
