can anyone tell me how I can merge distribution 2 or more lists?

Hi Judy
when I highlight the members of a distribution list I cannot copy them,
right click does not bring up a menu either, nor does Ctrl C. I can go to
Edit and Select All, but it only select the Name of the Distribution List,
without any content...
any suggestion?

Ctrl C does not bring up a menu and was never expected to. Did you try Ctrl
C to copy then Ctrl V to paste into the other DL?

Hi Judy
when I do Ctrl C and look at the Clipboard nothing shows up.
when I open another DL and do Ctrl V nothing happens.

Sorry I am all out of ideas. DLs are not the most robust or feature rich
aspect of Outlook.

What I'd do is to create a new list and just include the names of the other
lists in it. You can nest DLs.

thank you for your reply.
what I was trying to do was making a dl from my contacts. then i got the
message
“this distribution list has reached the maximum size for your network e-mail
server. No new members could be added.â€
so i was trying to do it a different way. obviously this is not possible...
