divided pages

I would like to save paper by doing two pages on one 8 1/2 x 11 landscape
oriented page and cut them in half for handouts. I used to have WordPerfect
and it would let me divide the page in two, four, six etc. in page set up.
Any suggestions for this in MS Word? For life of me I can't figure out how
to do it. Columns doesn't work b/c I can't put a footer in on both.

File|Print allows you to print up to 16 pages per sheet.

I tried to divide the page into 2 as you suggested, but the document only
printed out on the left side of the page. I want it to print out identically

After selecting "2 pages per sheet", enter 1,1 in the Pages box to get two
copies of page 1.
