Do FREE Pop Up Clock and Calendars Exist?

Let's try it again. Can anyone tell me if there are FREE pop up clocks and
calendars somewhere to attach to an Access field that my user can see for
scheduling?

Open a form, select the tools box and choose more (botton right corner
usually), a list will come up . Select calendar control.

That should do it.

You can have the results of what the user selects popultae a text field for
further processing.

Yes, there are many implementations of free date and time picker controls --
Googling should give you many from which to choose -- most of which are
constructed with Access Forms and Controls, so there is not even an ActiveX
Control that you have to distribute with your application. Just "off the top
of my head", it seems I remember three of those many can be found at: Arvin
Meyer's http://www.datastrat.com, Stephen Lebans' http://www.lebans.com, and
Drew Wutka's http://www.wolfwares.com.

But there are many others, including one in the _Access Developer's
Handbook_ by Litwin, Getz, et al, published by Sybex. I think Ken Getz has a
similar one in his Access Cookbook (sorry I don't have the other authors or
publisher on that one). The books aren't free, but if you have those books
(and most any book with Ken Getz' name on it is likely to be a useful one),
you can use them in your applications.

Many use these because they can, if need be, modify them to suit their own
needs, which they cannot do with Access Calendar Control.

But they are ActiveX Controls, so if you are distributing your application,
even internally, you'll have to update first, and then distribute.
