I'm interested in purchasing MS Accounting Pro 2007 for our CPA firm to use
as a time and billing system. Do I need a microsoft server in order to set up
MS as multi user or can I just throw it on our networked z drive?

You may want to also post this in the MS Office Accounting discussion group using the link below and explain a bit more on how you
envision the multi-user setup and usage, and what Operating System you're running on your server if it's not a MS one.

Well, the company that set up our computers told me that we couldn't network
the calanders on our outlook because we needed a microsoft sequel server. And
basically I was wondering if that applied to the MS Office Accounting as well.
We are operating with XP Pro and we have most of our company files networked
throughout 4 computers in the office on the Z drive.
- i dont really know much about computers.
