Do I need need to install service pack 1 before service pack 2?

I notice that when my computer was reviewed for an online update of Office
2003 (I'm running XP), the boxes that were automatically x'd were for service
pack 2 updates. When I checked (x'd) the service pack 1 box, the x's went
away on the service pack 2 installation download ( boxes cleared).

If I download service pack 1, must I then download service pack 2? or...

If I download service pack 2, by default, service pack 1 is included ( a
2'fer)

thanks

Service Pack 2 for Office 2003 is cumulative, which means it
includes all of the updates in Service Pack 1. You don't need to
separately install Service Pack 1 for Office 2003 before
installing Service Pack 2 for Office 2003.
