I was wondering because I have a small amount of memory on a pretty slow
computer...If I was to delete the microsoft office 2000 premium (which takes
off 103 MB out of 3 GB of memory)...would I still be able to access wicrosoft
word and type and do homework and stuff?

For some reason I doubt that you have 3 GB of memory. Especially since you
say you are running Office 2000 and talk about being able to do homework.

The answer to your question is no, you would not be able to use Word if you
delete Office. My suggestion would be to take a look at the non-essential
things you have on your system that are using up your hard drive space and
resources. I'm running Office 2003 on a 5+ year old computer and it runs
just fine but I keep the extra crap down to a minimum.

Not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, now are we?

1) You have a 3GB hard drive. Hard drive space is *NOT* memory, it is
hard drive space. Learn the difference.

2) I cannot believe you actually typed the next bit (you certainly didn't
think before putting fingers to keys). If you delete (i.e. remove) something
how on earth can you still use it?! If it's not on your hard drive how do
you propose to use it?

This has to go down as one of the stupidest questions ever posted on these
groups.
