Hello

heres the deal I use to be able to open front page and a user name and
password screen would pop up, I would then add the name and password and a
way I went on editing, NOW some thing has happen where the password screen
will not pop up and as soon as I try to open it from
file/open/networkplace/website it gives me the following message "you do no
have permission to open this web folder location"

I have taken it to my server guys house and it works fine, I have taken it
to another business and it works fine but it will not at my place, and my
internet provider is telling me it is not there problem and can't figure it
out why it will work every where except here??

please please any suggestion please

Have you tried to open the site in FP by just Using File Open Site and typing in your URL as
http://www.yoursitename.com/
Or browsing to your site in IE and using File Edit with FP
- and make sure your firewall is not blocking your access to FP or the site

A resolution to this problem (we hope)

It seems that my small remote location at the beach has two internet lines
going to servers or router or somewhere and for some reason I had flipped
over to this other line that seems to be all messed up and not allowing the
connection, we had rules out everthing possible and knew it was a internet
connection problem some where as it did not connect at the beach but when
tried to connect in town it worked fine, this took alot of time to figure it
out, but I seem to have connection again and they are just doing some line
test to try and figure out why this had happen but at least we know where the
problem lies

have agreat day

Nothing to do with your FP problem, but here is a supply of periods
which may be used for punctuation and a supply of upper case letters
to use in the sentences just after the periods provided.

I see you already have an adequate supply of commas so I have not
included any. BTW, these may be used over and over again. <G>

It sure makes a post easier to read and understand with proper
punctuation and capitalization...
