I have a doc in word that I cannot send because it needs *.doc and my doc
only has .doc no * what can I do to correct this

*.doc is merely shorthand for "any document with the .doc extension"; the
asterisk is never included in the file name or extension. In fact, asterisks
are forbidden in Windows file names.
