Windows XP SP1, Office XP integrated SP1 installed onto System. Created
user profile, started all office programs, then copied that users profile to
default user. RIS'd that machine.
Systems created from that RIS image have one small tiny bug. Any new user
that logs in has the DOC file extensons associated to Wordpad instead of
Winword. All other Office apps file extensions are associated correctly,
and when you clcik on an associated file will start , install, run and fix
the DOC document association. Except for the WINWORD DOC documents.
Anyone have any thoughts on why or how to fix it? It's driving me nuts since
DOC's are 99% of what we create and use.
