Document format appears different on separate machines

I have developed a large document (200 pages, hundreds of internal links and
some graphics). The document's format, specifically pagenation, appears fine
on my machine and some others, though a few individuals are having pagenation
issues when trying to view the document on their machines. They have the
same version of Word (2000) and I have tried giving them the document on CD.
We've also checked their default settings to ensure they are identical to
mine.

Any ideas why this occurs and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks!

See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm.

Other than forcing everyone to install the exact same printer driver,
or distributing the document as a PDF file, there is nothing you can
do.
