I want to use Microsoft office document image writer print driver. Months
ago I installed it on my desktop and find it very handy in writing multi-page
tiff files. I want to install it on my laptop and can't remember how I did
it on the desktop. I have windows xp and office xp. I uninstalled office
xp and re-installed it. On the re-install I picked office tools, run all
from my computer. I can open document imaging and scanning. But I do not
have the office document image writer print driver.

Hi Idaho Gal,

The MS Office Document Image Writer printdriver is
a feature of MS Office 2003. Did you have
a 2003 app or trial copy on your computer?

I had loaded Visio 2003 on my desktop computer. I guess I must have loaded
the office 2003 tools also if they came on the Visio cd. Thank you for
answering so promptly. I really appreciate it.

Is office 2003 the ONLY way to get the Document Image writer print driver?
If so, (I currently have Office XP Pro), how would I extract the driver
without overwriting Office XP Pro? Thanks.

I have the same question which Len wrote below. How can I get the driver and
then install it on my XP without risking anything else?
