document imaging no scanner?

Ok, I am using office 2003 with xp and had to reinstall xp and office prof.
2003. I was using msft imaging software to scan and store docs before the
reinstall. Reinstalled the printer software (hpc5250), printer and scanner
show up in printers and scanners, but doc imaging shows no scanner. Any
suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

I had this problem on Windows Vista/Office 2007 with an Epson USB/Wireless all in one. My problem was that I had Epson Scan running already when I tried MODI. I shut ES and MODI was then fine. Perhaps you need to check Task Manager to see what's running in the background.
