Document Imaging

Since upgrading my Office 2003, I have not been able to use the document
imaging software as a print option. The file spoolsv.exe consumes about 95%+
of the CPU resources with no progress beyond 64k in the file size spooled off
under the printer information. It doesn't even come back and ask for a file
name to save to. Why does spoolsv.exe consume so much of the resources and
why did I lose the ability to print with this utility?

Upgrade from what? Image Writer has only been in Office 2003 but you
seem to suggest otherwise. So please be specific.

Also, have you tried Detect & Repair from the HELP menu in Word for
example?

I upgraded with the MSOffice patch and since then the Image Writer does not
work.
Also tried your Detect & Repair suggestion with no success.

Anyone have any other ideas please?

This is most annoying. The convenience of creating tiff files for saving
documents was extremely nice and now it is frustrating not having it.
