Document Imaging

After I scan the document and add some text using the text box option, when I
click out of the box there is a thin border around the added text. I have
found where to change font, size, color, etc. but not the option to eliminate
the borders around the text box. Any help would be appreciated.

(MODI 2003) Clicking Tools, Annotations, Make annotations permanent will
remove the containing box. If you leave as an annotation the box will
remain.
