I'm working on a Com addin for outlook that is intended to integrate outlook
with a CRM product.
My question is 2 fold

1) Is it possible to create a MAPI folder that stores only documentitems?
2) If the folder can be created can I implement a custom Inspector and
associate with the items in the folder? In other words can I force the items
to only be opened using my Inspector?

Yes on #1. #2, not really. In Outlook, you can't create your own
inspectors but instead can modify existing types for your forms.
