Document Not Valid message when Document is valis and opens

Steps
Open Word Document from shelled link in GoldMine
Word 2003 (SP2) reports that there is a problem opening the file
suggesting that the file permissions may be wrong, the path etc may be
wrong or I could use the text converter

Press OK

Document opens without an error
