Document printing in Word

Seasider

I have a client who wants to put a word document onto a network share but
wants to prevent users from printing it. The reason is it's 70-pages. Is
there any way of doing this?

Any help would great.

Hi Seasider,

The ability to print would usually something that would be controlled by the administrator's setup for that user. If the person
has, for example to printer other than ones that print to PDF files, but without putting macros into place and knowing they'll run
when Word opens, there isn't anything really in Word to make a document not printable. (It's basically Word's primary task <g>).

you could convert the 70 page doc into
a viewable only pdf with the full version
of acrobat.
