Document Properties page - force users to fill info out

The company that I work for spends alot of time searching for old documents
on various servers. I know that there is an option to prompt for the
Document Properties page to appear while saving, but it does not FORCE the
users to fill out the information. Is there a way in the Registry or with a
program editor to make these fields required?

Nothing like that I'm aware of. Maybe you need to run new documents
through a proofing system to ensure the document is properly configured
prior to the final save.

Hi Bob I.
I posted the question on the WORD discussion group and a gentlemen responded
with some helpful info. He suggested creating macros and using vba to force
the save portion and the info in the document properties.
It's really absurd that the users can't just follow simple instructions and
make life alot easier for everyone. Forcing adults to do their jobs is a bit
silly.

True, but at what point does the software create the document without
human intervention? ;-) Wishing you the best of luck in your quest.
