Document Template - Word 2000

Ian Large

I have been trying to set up a template for a company letterhead, where the
first page header & footer differs from the second.

Essentially, what I want to do is have the company logo as a header on all
pages and the company address only on the first page.

I can set up a template to do this so long as I have both pages showing
within the template. This of course doesn't work if the user is only
going to use the first page, because the resulting document prints the two
pages.

Have you any ideas please?

Many thanks,

Ian

Word 'remembers' the subsequent page headers and footers, even if the
template has only one page:

1. Go to File > PageSetup : Layout tab. Check the 'Different first page'
checkbox.

2. In your document insert a page break.

3. Set the headers and footers for first and subsequent pages.

4. Delete the page break.

The link works for me... Do you have trouble with any other links,
such as the one in Suzanne's and my signatures?
