documents and issue collaboration features

Hi,

I have found in this document:

that accounts authenticated by Microsoft Project Server cannot use the
documents and issue collaboration features.

Is this true or there is some workaround to use documents and issue
collaboration features without Windows integrated NT authentication?

No. You must use Windows authentication because of the
connections bewteen the applications and the settings on
IIS.
