I am having this problem on one machine only with FP.

Everything used to work fine. Now I get the above error when doin
various functions. Happens when I try to edit hyperlink live on th
server also happens when I do a save as. I don't use the publis
command. I can do the same on another computer with the same websit
with no issue.

It IMO is not an issue with the server or extentions. I do feel it i
an issue with my newtwork places.

I would have tried a search, but as of yet have not found the link t
search this website.

Thanks in advance.

I am using FP2003 and XP pro. All critical updates and service pack
have been installed

Network places only contains links / file paths.
It doesn't contain any data that would cause the issue

go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
and download FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that clear the Cache(.web) files and the
FrontPageTempDir files.

See if it helps.

Thanks Steve.

Tried that also and it did not help.

I can open and edit the site. Again the issue is when I wish to add
hyper link, or apply a template, the window that opens with th
directory structure and places that I should be able to highlight an
choose. The current site does not show up on in My network places
Again I am editing live on the server, not my local machine
