Except on Win XP home were PWS / IIS is not supported so you are painfully limited to disc based webs (not what FP98 was designed
for)
Win XP Pro does support IIS (instead of PWS) so it is better suited to FP 98 and the FP SE
IMHO
Upgrade FP 98 to at least FP2000
- life will be easier
FYI
FP98 is no longer supported under the latest FP2002 SE on Unix servers
