It's often difficult to determine if a user's post is for PWA 2002 or PWA
2003, so I wondered if Microsoft plans to split this pro_and_server
newsgroup into two versions.

PWA 2002 problems seem to be somewhat different from PWA 2003 problems,
especially regarding the Service Pack 1 issue for MSP 2002. Also, the
SharePoint vs WSS, in 2002 vs 2003 appears to be completely different.

Hi J,

Newsgroups for Project have recently been changed by Microsoft. Their aim
is to make them all as non-specific to version as practicable so that they
don't have to be changed every time a new version or service release is
produced. Normal netiquette is for posteres to include their versions,
though this seldom happens :)

Next time, try posting on the server newsgroup, as this one is closing down!
