Does Office 2000 Pro works on Win XP Pro?

I just updated from Win 98 SE to Win XP Pro. Now I found that my office 2000 prof does not work anymore. Anybody can help?

It works; An update of an o/s though suggested as ok by MS is fraught with
probs.
Try a repair of yr Office2K, using inst.disk
