Does Project Server 2003 perform leveling?

Hi All

I'm new to the project world and have been reading up the SDK documentation and have not come across any PDS request or other means of having Project Server level a specified project.

Does this mean, that currently, that functionality is performed in the desktop app and that Project Server is just a data repository (a "VSS" for Projects in a sense)?

Yes, that has always been the case with Project Server and Project Central.
Schedule calculations (including leveling) are always done on the desktop.

Leveling should logically be done by Project server. You will find out that
leveling multiple projects (including some that belong to other PMs) is a
real pain... Can<t wait till this is fixed.
