Does Visio Viewer 2007 not support hyperlinks on page 2???

I create process flowcharts for our company in Visio 2003. My internal
customers view them with Visio Viewer 2007.

In my own method of mapping processes, I frequently hyperlink one shape to a
shape on a different page, such as for a "subroutine." At the end of the
subroutine I create a link to take the user back to the shape where they came
from.

This works perfectly within Visio:
(1) Shape A on Page 1 links to Shape X on Page 2
(2) Shape Z on Page 2 links to Shape A on Page 1

I store the .vsd on a network drive. When users view the .vsd in Visio
Viewer 2007, only (1) above works. (2) doesn't work.

In other words, when they click on Shape A on Page 1, they are taken to
Shape X on Page 2. But when they click on Shape Z on Page 2 nothing happens
-- no error, nothing.

I've tried this is many ways with many shapes and links and have verified my
hperlinks are all correct (as I said, they work in the same file in Visio).

Can anyone verify whether they experience the same thing? Can you create 2
simple pages with maybe one shape on each that link to each other, then see
if the links on both pages work for you in Viewer 2007?

Maybe something else is wrong, but I sure can't find it.

[Incidentally, publishing the files to Web pages is not a viable option for
reasons I won't go into now]

Thanks,

jb

I am very surprised no one has responded to this issue. It's still a big
issue for me and is becoming even bigger soon. Is there a different forum on
which I might find an answer?

Thanks,

jb
