Hi Reboroni,
To add to Millie's reply. Word 2007's use of AutoText has evolved into the MS Office Document Building Blocks. There are now 36
separate galleries for storing and reusing boilerplate, all of these are run by the Autotext engine, with the 'AutoText' gallery now
being only one of the 36. The organizer for the galleries and categories and individual entries in Word 2007 is avaiable through
Insert=>Quickparts=>Building Blocks Organizer (Quickparts is another of the 36 galleries).
Due to the large number of potential Building Block entries MS chose to turn off the 'autcomplete suggestions' feature. Typing the
first few unique characters in the entry and pressing F3 will still pull in the autotext/boilerplate entry.
================
Word 2000-2003 has an autotext function to avoid repetetive typing.
Is there such a function in word 2007? >>
