dog assistant in word

P.A. Little

I want to get the "doggie assistant" in my Word program and cannot find it on the net anywhere. I found a download for "Power PuP", but that was for Office 97

Suggest you post this to the MS Word newsgroup.

isn't word a part of Office 97?
maybe the office assistants (the paper clip, cat, dog, whatever) are only
installed as part of an "advanced" install.
Try a MS Word Newsgroup?

Try a search on the Microsoft support site for "office assistant" - it
seems to me there is someplace you can download additional "assistants".
But the kitten is better :)

There used to be an adorable cat called Scribbles (I think) but he doesn't
work on newer versions of Office. I think 97 was the last. Too bad, he was
cute.

Oh, they're all adorable....

Hello, it looks like you're writing a letter. Is there anything I can do to
totally f*ck it up for you? If not, that's OK, I'll just keep popping in to
irritate the h*ll out of every time you touch a key.

Yeah, the Office "Assistants" are a great little tool. Thanks for the link.

Oh man, what did you do - download the demonical office assistant from Hell?
I never remember Scribbles asking how he/she could f*ck up my document. That
must have been another assistant. I can see it now - a big burly biker broad
with an attitude (I live in Harley-land and used to date a biker so I know
they exist).

Hey, this could be an idea! Who do we send suggestions to? ;-)

But Clippy has been layed off

Or is that just a rumor
http://news.com.com/2100-1001-267631.html
And he may be a spy

You can destroy him at

http://www.corporatedump.com/clippy.html
But you can resurrect him at

He has some friends at this adult link

| We could make it a penguin in, say, a cute little tux.
