dot matrix line up problem

I'm printing to a Panasonic KX-P1092i Multi Mode dot matrix printer from
A2K. I have a form lined up nicely BUT what looks good on screen does
not translate into good on the printer. It will print a form or two
correctly then move a field down two lines, often overprinting another
field. I've tried moving fields, changing their size and even deleting
fields to no avail. It looks like it is screwing up after a given
number of characters but I don't know that for sure.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
