dots between words, arrows at every tab, symbol at tab

Robert

While useing Word, strange symbols appears: dots between
words or where there is a space, arrows marking my tabed
spaces, and a strange music like symbol marking new
paragraphs. I don't know how this was triggered. If any
has experienced this and knows what the problem is please
help.

Thank you,

In the standard tool bar there will be a button for
show/hide. Click this and the dots and arrows will go
away.

Hi Robert,

You°have·set ·Word·to°display·formatting·cha¬racters.¶

Press the ¶ button on the Standard toolbar, or hit Ctrl+Shift+*, or change
the settings in "Tools > Options > View > Formatting characters".

For more information on the funny characters (and why it can be very useful
to display them), see Suzanne S. Barnhill's article "What do all those
funny marks, like the dots between the words in my document, and the square
bullets in the left margin, mean?"

Greetings,
Klaus
