I have small dots just above each letter in a wordart box. If the wordart
box is small enough these are not too much of a problem but as soon as you
enlarge the box on a banner etc they become intrusive. I have not always had
them which makes me think I have mistakenly clicked on something but I have
been through all the options and cannot find anywhere to remove them, any
ideas?
Thank you

I don't really know, but you asked for any ideas (LOL) It sounds
something like you have guidelines set up in some way? I've done that (by
mistake) when using Word and little dots and marks come out all over it when
I type.

Maybe it's something to do with the spacing, showing you how far apart the
letters are or will be?

The thing is, does it print with the dots on it? If not, it must be some
sort of guidelines. Just guessing here...

Did you try looking in VIEW and "show guidelines" (or hide them) I have
Publisher 2000 and it's not right open so I'm not sure what they say, but
sometimes I want to get rid of the formatting and guidline marks and open
that and click and see what happens.

Now I'll have to go open Publisher and Word Art and see if I can GET
dots, just to find out (LOL)

I tried setting up a banner using Pub 2000 and WordArt and can't get dots
on it!

If the dots don't print, seems like it must be a formatting or printer
(guide) or some kind.

If it does print, and it's not a font you are using, I don't know what
it would be.

There doesn't to be much for toolbars and settings with WordArt, at
least on mine.

This seems like one of the strange problems I might have (LOL)

It could be a graphics card glitch. If they don't print, I'd suggest
updating your video drivers. If they do print, that's a different critter.

Thanks for the ideas, the dots do print which is why they become a problem.
It happens which ever font I am using and I have looked at all the different
settings but I can't see anything obvious. I feel it is a formatting problem
but can't find the answer which is irratating! How do i get rid of
them.....please.....?
