Double Bottom Border in Excel 2003

I can't get the "Double Bottom Border" icon in the Excel 2003 toolbar to
produce a double line border. It only produces a single line border. The
only way to get a "Bottom Double Border" is to ust the "Borders" Icon and
select the correct icon from the 12 displayed. I have noticed that this has
been a problem in the last two versions of Excel I have owned. Does anybody
else have this problem, or found a way to fix it. I'm not even sure
Microsoft even knows about this problem. Thanks

http://tinyurl.com/buw5k offers some workarounds.

Microsoft knows about the problem. Let's hope it gets fixed in the next
version.

Thanks for the info. At least MS is aware of the problem. Too bad they
don't have a fix patch available now to correct the problem. I use that
toolbar icon a lot for spreadsheet design. I guess we all have to wait for
the fix in the next version. Mickey
