We just upgraded from Access2000 to Access 2002-2003. I built an mde and
everything is fine on my computer. I then copied the mde to the user's
computer (actually on the network).

However, when the user runs the program and double-clicks on a record he gets
a blank form rather than the form with the record's detailed information.

Since I have access to the library from where he runs the program, I ran the
mde from my computer and I have no problem. Could there be some definition
that is needed in his computer for Access 2003?

Thank you.

1. The mde should not be on the network. Each user should have their own copy
2. Have you installed Sevice Pack 3 and the Hotfix on each user's computer?
3. "Since I have access to the library from where he runs the program," Do
you mean folder?

Thank you. Installing Service Pack 3 and Hotfix on the user's computer
worked.

There is only one user. The mde is on the network with the one user (and
myself) having access to it. What I meant is that when I double click on
the exact mde file that the user uses from my computer it is fine, if I take
control of his computer then it is not fine.

From what I see, I don't have the Service Pack and it still works for me, but
our system installed it on the user's computer and it works, so end of story.

Thanks so much.
