Double columns of writing on a page??

How can I setup a page of word to have two colums of writing like this...

sdflkhjlksjdksdkljdklskj adskldjksdjksjdlskdjklsjd
lksjdklsjdklsajdklsjdkld kdjaskdjslkjdlksajdklsjdk
kdsjlkdjlksjdklajkjssjdd aksjdlksjadlkjslkdskldjldk

without pressing space to get me to the second column every time?

....not sure what you mean about pressing space to get to the 2nd column.
However, that's called newspaper or snaking columns. In the Standard
toolbar, click the Columns tool and set it to 2 (or whatever number of
columns you want). Alternatively, choose Format - Columns, and choose your
settings in the dialog box.

That's assuming you want the text in each columns to be continuous and to
continue from the first column into the second. If you're trying to lay out
tabular material, use a table. For more on both these options, see these
