Double emails

I have Outlook Express version 6. I have been getting double e-mails for
several days. When I click "send_receive", my new messages come in and then
it pauses for a second or two and I end up getting duplicates of every single
message - not just Yahoo groups. What is the solution?

Then ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
