Double reporting to the PWA

I want to assign 2 resources to a task and to enable the resources to update
2 fields (a field per user) via the PWA.
Can the Project Server process 2 reports for the same task?
Environment: MSP2003 Server.

Hi, Gary. Thanks for your time!
Using "Published Fields" I added 2 Enterprise fields. Lets call them
EnterpriseText1 and EnterpriseText2.
I assigned 2 resources to a task, and I expect resource A to update, using
Tasks tab, EnterpriseText1 ; and resource B to update EnterpriseText2.
(I assume that Project Server does not allow to set permissions for the same
record. i.e. for a specific task, resource A and will not be able to update
EnterpriseText2 and resource B and will not be able to update
EnterpriseText1. am I right??).
Now, after each resource updates his field for the specific task
(EnterpriseText1 by resource A; EnterpriseText2 by resource B) I'm accepting
those requests by "Updates" tab. I see both updates in the PWA, but when the
data is uploaded to the Professional, only the latter request is updated to
the Pro. The former just is not presented.
I hope my dilemma is clear now.

Gary,
It makes some sense. What fields can be split by assignments - work, rem
work etc?
Is there a workaround for updating Enterprise Fields by different users? For
example, updating assignemt.text1 field and copying it to task.text1 field (I
don't know whether that's even makes sense)?
