Down grade back to Office 04

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I do not like some the excel 08 features and want to make 04 my default - How do I do this?
I have 04 & 08 on my computer but 08 is the default and I do not know how to change it>>

If you mean to start Excel 2004 instead of Excel 2008 when you double click
a file, unfortunately you can't. Unless you uninstall everything, and then
install Office 2008, upgrade it fully, and then re install Office 2004 and
update that. And, even then, I'm not sure that will work reliably. I also
have both on my machine. I almost NEVER double click on a file to open it,
but use the application's file menu. Try getting used to that instead.

Bob that the reverse of what your supposed to do you install Office2004
run through all the updates, then install 2008 and updates.

If you do the reverse the 2004 install will clobber some of the
Components of 2008.

That's why I said it may not work. My suggestion was to get used to opening
the app first and then using file-open
