Down load email for remote users

When I try to "send/receive" after I have been working
online I get folders that I have selected to be
sychronized. However, although I want my Inbox to be
synchronized I don;t want EVERYTHING in the inbox to be
checked. I only want those messages that have not been
opened and not thoses that i have already looked at. At
this point i have to wait for 302 messages in my Inbox to
load before I can get into my email. How can I only have
the those messages that have not been opened to load only?

Any help would be greatly appricated

Create subfolders to your inbox and move some of the older
items into the folders. There is no reason why the mail
should have to remain in the inbox.

Try an IMAP4 connection. It will download the list of messages, but
only open the messages you open...
