You may be talking about a column of numbers, which are normally
right-aligned, with some of them having been entered as TEXT and therefore
become left-aligned...........if so, most import procedures allow the user
to set the formatting for each column..........

Hi Kumar,
Try the TrimALL macro on my site mentioned by Frank before using
test to columns. Also note in Text to Columns there is an option
about duplicate separators treated as one. You might want them
to be treated as one. Of course the TRIMALL macro may eliminate
extra internal spaces depending on which TRIM you use.
