Downgrading 2007 to 2003

I am using some software that is designed to work with Access 2003 and it
will not work with Access 2007. The company is developing a new version based
on Access 2007 but it will not be out until late 2008 or early 2009.

I am currently running Office XP. I have not been able to find Office
Professional 2003 (or Access individually) anywhere other than Ebay and I
have been unsuccessful in winning an auction there because I do not want to
pay alot for a program I will use for 6 months.

I called Dell and they told me that I could buy Office Pro 2007 and
downgrade to 2003. Has anyone had any experience with this.

Sounds like my problem since there are files missing in Office Home and
Student. I am attempting to find a downgrade also. Too bad that no one tells
you that it is not compatible with many companies' versions, which are, of
course, based on 2003 since there has been no real update on Word 2003. There
are just changes based on Word 2003 and now many of us are stuck since we no
longer have our original.

This is rather interesting. What problems are you encountering?

I'm a bit surprised by this. The big conversion was A2.0 using 16 bit
API calls to 32 bit API calls. But since then converting up is
usually not that big of a deal. But then maybe I tend not to do
interesting things.
