download Access DB denied

The company I'm doing some programming for is unable to download my databases
with Outlook. When they look under TOOLS | OPTIONS | ATTACHMENT SECURITY &
OPTIONS, they are not able to change anything. In fact, they say their
display differs from mine.

It's probably an administrative thing, but they are not sufficiently
advanced to be able to remedy this. Obviously -- neither am I.

Please help.

That's a Big Brother "safety" feature to protect the recipient from viruses.
Easiest workaround: zip up the files you send, or rename them with an
extension other than MDB, and instruct your recipient to unzip or rename
back.

Hi Diane,
Yes, they are using a server -- I forgot about that. I don't know what
version though. Their computers are using Windows XP and Office 2007.

Are they using the Exchange server and the custom form to allow the
attachment type or an add-in?

see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.asp for more information.
