download Calendar file in .vst format?

I am an Office 2003 user. I downloaded Calendar from the Office tools and
saved the .vst file to my desktop, but can't open it. What do I need to do to
open it and use the calender and other .vst files?

What program created the .vst file? I would use that program to open them.

After furious head scratching, GPBio asked:

I have the exact same problem. Clicking to download the template brings you
to this page,
http://office.microsoft.com/templat...0408451033&Application=VO&Result=2&Version=11

It prompts you to download the template (named "2006 calendar.cab"). Upon
double clicking and extracting out the template, you get one file
(10040845.vst). Double clicking the file does nothing (no application to
associate with it) and trying to open in Word generates gibberish.

Did a hacker crack into the office web site? Is this a safe file, or one
full of security vulnerabilities and malware for my virgin computer?

Thanks for any help.

That requires that you have Visio installed to open it.
