Download Database to Excel

Have an application using an Access database on a website. The database contains names, phones numbers, etc. and would be helpful for the members to be able to download the latest up-to-date file exported out to Excel. I could always export the table out and save it as an Excel spreadsheet, and post it on the webpage for downloading, but that wouldn't always include the latest and greatest information.

I'm wondering if there's a simple way that members could click on link and behind the scenes database would be saved out as Excel file, then download it. Can that be scripted or something?
