Download XLS files

Hello,

Is there a way to download Excel spreadsheets from our
Intranet website that does not give the user the options
to "open save cancel more options". I basically want to
force the user to just download it, not open the original
file. They can then manipulate the file and save it to
their local drive.

Any help is appreciated.

No, I don't think so.

If it were possible to bypass this prompt, sites all over
the Internet would constantly be overwriting files on your
computer with versions more to their liking.
