downloaded jpg or rm files

Sometimes when I download a jpg or rm or movie file, it comes thought as a
bunch of code. What caused this and how to I get it to be just the jpg or
movie file?

Hi Randy,

As a guess, you may be trying to open the file in the wrong program. For example you can't use File=>Open in Word for either of
those file types, and if the associations of program to file type are incorrect, double clicking on one of those items will give a
similar result than using File=>Open from a graphics or Real Media player app.
